Several Attempts at Crying on Demand, 2005

This video work was made in response to the terrorist bombings in London, England during the summer of 2005. Unintentionally, this piece predicts “reaction video” culture in the age of YouTube (created in the same year YouTube was launched).

The work was purchased by Oakville Galleries and was later exhibited in Mnemonic Devices – curated by Matthew Hyland. Writing on this exhibition can be found here.
